Ibis Style
Decorative Installations
The owner of the Ibis Styles Marseille Castellane entrusted me with the mission of modernizing the visual identity of the hotel through a photographic approach inspired by everyday life in Marseille.
The goal was to bring a contemporary, authentic and tourism-oriented touch to this city-center establishment.
The project consisted in designing and producing a collection of original images, installed throughout the hotel:
– 53 rooms, each decorated with a unique triptych inspired by an emblematic place or scene from Marseille.
– 7 half-floors, each featuring 12 images.
– The breakfast room, enhanced with three large visuals, including a 460 × 110 cm panoramic piece immersing guests in a Marseille atmosphere.
– The reception and lobby area, enriched with a curated selection of images reflecting the diversity and energy of the city.
My role covered the entire process: art direction, photography, creation of visual atmospheres, and coordination with production partners for the fabrication and installation of the Dibond-mounted prints.
After two intensive weeks of shooting and editing in July — mixing street photography, local life, urban landscapes and aquatic views — the visuals were installed in October in collaboration with Atelier M Numérique (Saint-Jean-de-Védas) and Lettres & Déco (Marseille).
